Each grade will have 2 tryout dates.

We recommend BOTH tryouts- so that our evaluators can really see the skills and game play.

Our tryouts are 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Day of Tryout

Arrive 5-10 minute early, wearing cleats, shin guards, bring water bottle and ball (labeled)

Arrive to tryout time/ location- check in with HSC Travel Administrator and receive pinnie

Director of Coaching, VP of Travel and Lead Trainer will host the tryout in partnership with our HSC Licensed Trainers. *not parents*

Things we are looking for

• ball control
• foot skills
• speed
• understanding the game
• teamwork/ commitment (from past season)

Parents

• These are  DROP off Tryouts. 
• At no point whatsoever should any parent come onto the playing area- if this happens, your child will be removed.
• There is a zero tolerance for any verbal or physical input or coaching- let the players just try their best. 

Who will be evaluating my player?

Our HSC Licensed Trainers, VP of Travel, and Director of Coaching will be evaluating players 

Will my coaches be involved in tryouts.

Coaches are asked to fill out a player evaluation form to support the tryout information. 

When will I hear if I made a team or receive an offer? 

Players will be notified of their offer by email, fairly quickly after the second tryout ; players have 24 hour to accept or we will move to the next player on the list. (24 hours for deposit)

What happens after we accept our offer?

We will have new Fall 2026 grade/ team meetings in end of May/ June for all teams- before summer break and go over expectations.

Team snap invitations will begin to go out.

 

Anyone not making a team is encouraged to play in our fun Intramural league to gain more game play experience.
